Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Commercial Lending Portfolio Management.
• Strong knowledge of credit and lending policies.
• Proficient in using PC software tools including Microsoft Office.
• Banking financial analysis and underwriting skills.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Review loan underwriting and work with underwriters to ensure complete write ups for approval queues.
• Support Lending Assistants with loan closings while adhering to policy, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Draft term sheets and communicate loan terms with borrowers and collect items for renewal.
• Support the growth of the loan portfolio through effective portfolio management and monitoring.
• Monitor current, matured, and past due loans and make appropriate recommendations.
• Identify revenue opportunities and manage loan exposures within the portfolio.
• Assist Loan Officers in prescreening borrowers, perform due diligence and proper loan structuring.
• Collaborate with attorneys to review loan documentation for accuracy.
• Prepare lending activity reports for management and loan committee as needed.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers to identify additional opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act including CIP and due diligence.
