Job summary

Chase is seeking a Loan Origination Specialist to serve as a primary liaison between the Business Relationship Manager and the Credit Coordinator for collateral, entity and other commercial due diligence. You will review approvals, documentations, and due diligence to ensure Small Business loans close in accordance with approvals and prepare documents to mitigate risk.

The role requires attention to detail and collaboration in a high-volume environment, with opportunities to contribute to policy

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preparing commercial loan, SBA, or mortgage loan documents.
• Experience with collateral and entity due diligence related to commercial loans is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and PC skills.
• Able to communicate well and work independently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
• College degree, paralegal, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews commercial credit application packages for adherence to credit policy and determination of appropriate due diligence necessary to ensure proper collateral position.
• Reviews business entity and organizational documents including trust agreements, good standing, and UCC searches as required.
• Coordinates obtaining or ordering and reviews equipment valuations and other reports and information.
• Evaluates all reports to determine if terms and conditions of the credit approval will be met.
• Prepares the loan documentation and compliance documents to protect the bank's interests.
