Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 24 months of loan processing experience; 18 months may substitute with a Bachelor's degree in business.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to discuss complex loan scenarios.
• Ability to work on deadlines with great attention to detail.
• Proactive and independent with initiative.
• Excellent time-management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Bank policies and loan processing software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and loan processing systems.
• Ability to switch between CRE, non-CRE, and consumer loans accurately.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver loan documents to customers in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review each loan file to verify documents are present, accurate, and complete.
• Ensure that loans are compliant with Federal and State law as well as Bank policy.
• Perform complex administrative tasks including organizing files, data entry, and maintaining records.
• Process and respond to all incoming communications for loans.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands.
• Review documents needed for a complete loan package (credit report, flood, appraisal, title work, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
