Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate with 3 years of loan processing experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on deadlines with attention to detail.
• Proactive and independent with initiative.
• Knowledge of TRID, Reg. B, HMDA, Flood, QM/ATR.
• Proficient with loan processing software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review loan disclosures prior to delivering to customers.
• Review documents needed for a complete loan package (credit report, flood, appraisal, title work, etc.).
• Review each loan file to verify documents are present, accurate, and complete.
• Ensure loans are compliant with federal/state law and Bank policy.
• Document errors or concerns and follow up to ensure file compliance prior to closing.
• Alert processors and management when a file may not be compliant and provide guidance to correct.
• Coach and mentor loan processors and adapt to changing work environments.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
