Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent banking experience.
• Understanding of the commercial loan process from application to closing.
• Knowledge of commercial lending regulations and terminology.
• Paralegal certificate or BA preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver commercial loan closing packages.
• Engage attorneys for real estate closings and title work.
• Review title work for liens and tax exceptions.
• Verify entity authorizations and flood determinations.
• Ensure lien perfection on security instruments (Deeds of Trust, Mortgages, UCCs).
• Coordinate funding activities and ledger entries.
• Provide pre-closing review and assist with inquiries from lending staff.
