Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a highly motivated Associate Litigation Attorney to join our Tampa, Florida office. This mid-level role offers exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes disputes from inception through trial, with significant client contact and opportunities to shape case strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom advocacy, a JD from an accredited law school, and active Florida Bar membership, plus 2+ years of complex commercial litigation experience.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in complex commercial litigation.
• Significant courtroom, hearing, deposition, and trial experience.
• Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload from pleadings through trial and appeal.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in complex commercial disputes.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions and other substantive motions.
• Prepare witnesses, experts, and exhibits for hearings and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, persuasive writing.
• Collaborate with partners and teams on client matters.
• Manage discovery including document review, written discovery, and e-discovery.
• Maintain client relationships and provide business-focused legal advice.
• Participate in business development and firm marketing initiatives.
