Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and drive new business. The role emphasizes team leadership, policy administration, billing, and renewal negotiations with a focus on service excellence.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, maintain data integrity in agency systems, and proactively address client needs while upholding IOA values and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in the insurance industry
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts; collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy.
