Job summary

The George Mauricio Agency, a leading Farmers Insurance agency in Northern California, seeks an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager in California. You will manage a growing book of commercial accounts, interact with business owners, underwriters, and carrier representatives, and drive renewals and coverage optimization.

With a minimum of 2 years in commercial insurance and an active CA P&C license, you will contribute to maintaining high service standards while leveraging agency systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on commercial lines experience required.
• Active California P&C license required.
• Experience managing and servicing commercial accounts.
• Ability to communicate with business owners, underwriters, and carrier reps.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Proactive approach to renewals and cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned book of commercial insurance accounts from onboarding through renewal.
• Serve as primary contact for commercial clients and provide professional service.
• Proactively manage renewal process and verify timely renewals.
• Review policies for gaps, exposures, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Prepare and submit applications and endorsements to carriers.
• Market and remarket accounts to obtain coverage options.
