Job summary

Hilb Group in Hyannis, MA is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager for an in-office role. You will oversee a high-value book of business, act as the primary client liaison, and coordinate with carriers to secure favorable terms.

The ideal candidate has extensive insurance experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work well with a team to drive client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 7–10 years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the P&C insurance industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate via phone or email.
• Self-directed with good decision making and time management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager.
• Handle inquiries regarding coverages, policy changes and general insurance questions.
• Process billing, service and endorsement requests and related paperwork.
• Serve as liaison between customer and carrier to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
• Manage renewals, review loss information, obtain updates, and negotiate renewal pricing when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of company systems and offerings.
