Job summary

Lutron Electronics Company, Inc. seeks a Commercial Construction Project Leader to drive large-scale NA commercial projects from inception through turnover. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management, with opportunities to engage in site meetings, training, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience showing success in leading large-scale, complex projects.
• Advanced commercial and contract negotiation skills preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce or other project management tools preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, budgets, submittals, and risk mitigation strategies to achieve milestones.
• Represent Lutron at all levels of construction project meetings and drive issue resolution at the jobsite.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex lighting control, shading, and smart building projects from design through commissioning and handover.
• Build trusted relationships with owners, developers, consultants, contractors, and facility teams across projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, Field Services, and Operations to ensure successful outcomes.
