Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of banking experience.
• Commercial lending and/or commercial real estate lending experience required.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and close commercial lending opportunities.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and develop new commercial banking relationships through networking, referrals, cold calling, and Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Manage an existing portfolio of business clients while identifying opportunities to expand relationships.
• Cross-sell additional banking products, including treasury management and deposit services.
• Meet with prospective borrowers to understand their financial needs and structure appropriate lending solutions.
• Originate and structure Commercial Real Estate (CRE), Commercial & Industrial (C&I), and SBA loans in accordance with lending and risk guidelines.
• Analyze financial information and creditworthiness to evaluate potential lending opportunities.
• Monitor the financial performance of existing borrowers and manage loan renewals.
• Maintain accurate, current, and compliant credit files.
• Develop strong referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, real estate professionals, and other business partners.
• Represent the organization through community involvement, networking events, and civic organizations.
