Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business/finance/legal field.
• 5+ years experience with complex commercial and commercial real estate loan transactions in Texas.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret moderately complex loan documents.
• Experience reviewing legal loan documentation, title commitments, and closing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with lenders and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lending environment.
• Exceptional accuracy, confidentiality, and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end loan documentation and closing for commercial loans, renewals, extensions, modifications, and other transactions.
• Lead, mentor, and train loan documentation staff; perform quality-control reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Review loan files and pre-closing checklists to ensure documentation completeness before closing and booking.
• Review attorney-prepared loan documents for completeness and consistency with terms.
• Ensure closing packages have all necessary documentation; follow up on outstanding closing conditions and track receipts.
• Maintain tracking of loan documentation, covenants, and post-closing requirements.
• Prepare lien releases for paid loans and manage record retention; retrieve archived files as needed.
• Serve as a knowledge resource to lenders and internal stakeholders on documentation and compliance matters.
• Process tax escrow payments and provide backup support for loan servicing activities.
• Stay updated on applicable federal and Texas laws and Bank policies affecting lending operations.
• Assist the President/CEO with special projects and process improvements.
• Comply with background checks and internal security requirements.
