Job summary

ServiceMaster CDR in Ohio seeks a Commercial / Large Loss Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex commercial restoration projects. You will build and maintain a book of business, respond to losses, and lead crews and subcontractors from scope development to project closeout.

Strong estimating, communication, and safety leadership are essential. Responsibilities include scheduling, progress billing, and daily updates to owners, adjusters, consultants, and management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management in water, fire and reconstruction.
• Experience managing losses of $500K+.
• Experience with NTE and ROM bidding.
• Existing book of business preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial construction and current building codes.
• IICRC and OSHA certifications (10 Hour / 30 Hour) strongly preferred.
• Occasional regional or national travel may be required.
• Strong estimating skills with Xactimate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with technology (mobile devices, computers, etc.).
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial projects from start to finish with in-house labor, assistants, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain a book of business through referrals with insurers, managers, and clients.
• Respond to losses of all sizes and secure work.
• Serve as primary contact with owners, adjusters, and consultants.
• Scope development, negotiation and agreements with customers, consultants, and insurers.
• Create and manage project schedules and ensure timely updates.
• Submit progress billing and manage time/material documentation.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on each project.
• Develop relationships with staffing agencies, vendors, and subcontractors for project needs.
