Job summary

Granite Hills Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Landscape Construction Estimator to develop accurate project estimates for commercial sites. You will interpret plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and manage bid submissions by deadlines, coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with customers and partners while maintaining organized estimating records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction estimating or a closely related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial landscape installation and construction methods.
• Reading, interpreting, and understanding construction plans, specifications, and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the estimating workflow and pipeline to ensure complete, accurate proposals are submitted by bid deadlines.
• Review RFPs, plans, specifications, addendums, and other project documents to determine scope of work and appropriate production methods.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop accurate estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct project costs.
• Solicit, obtain, and evaluate competitive quotes from qualified subcontractors and vendors.
• Enter and maintain bid and estimate information in Aspire.
• Develop bid summaries and review estimates, pricing, and proposed margins with leadership.
