Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Insurance Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of middle-market accounts. You will advise clients on coverage needs, manage servicing, and collaborate with sales and service teams to grow the book.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial insurance, an active P&C license, and experience with EPIC or similar AMS. A hybrid work arrangement in Columbus, GA, with competitive base salary and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience.
• Active P&C license.
• Knowledge of commercial products and risk mitigation.
• Experience reviewing policies and proposals.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to coordinate servicing and delegation of responsibilities.
• Experience with EPIC or similar agency management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to build client and carrier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on coverage needs and risk management strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and coordinate servicing.
• Build relationships with clients and collaborate with sales and service teams.
• Review policies, endorsements, proposals, and related documents for accuracy.
• Oversee marketing and quoting of new and renewal business.
• Evaluate coverage options and work with carriers on terms.
• Coordinate account workflows and delegate responsibilities.
• Develop relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support special projects with commercial lines leadership.
• Maintain accurate client and policy information in the agency system.
