Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr Commercial Account Manager to act as the main client contact for a high-revenue book. The role requires autonomous work, deep insurance knowledge, and strong client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required or pursued.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar commercial account role.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent commercial insurance experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewal process by obtaining quotes and claims experience from carriers.
• Assist producers with new business calls and implementation for new accounts.
• Act as liaison between producer and client to obtain exposure and renewal docs.
• Handle a range of insurance products in Commercial Lines.
• Submit complete renewal information to carriers.
• Prepare Insurance Coverage Review documents.
• Bind coverage with carriers per client instructions.
• Discuss commercial coverages with customers.
• Renew policies by providing ID cards, binders, and certificates.
• Monitor quality control procedures on each account.
• Use Agency Management System to create activities and attachments.
• Manage all aspects of assigned accounts and communicate status.
• Oversee accounts receivable for the book of business.
• Process daily mail and administer designated book.
• Contribute to development of Technical Assistants.
