Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client support, manage renewals, and assist in submissions and coverage decisions. This role requires strong insurance knowledge, licensing, and excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in insurance customer service, be proficient in MS Office, and hold an active license with CISR preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and/or assigned group of accounts.
• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documentation.
• Assist in preparing submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, and help present proposals.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and support collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Keep the team updated on workload status and issues; maintain timely activity.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures and seek improvements.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.
