Job summary

Custom Mechanical Solutions seeks a Commercial Hydronics Account Executive to drive sales of hydronics equipment and systems to contractors, engineers, architects, owners, and consultants. The role focuses on building long-term relationships and promoting CMS line cards with manufacturers.

You will manage bids, cost/benefit analyses, and high-quality proposals while traveling for training and client visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of account management and leadership experience in HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing sectors.
• Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Develop credibility and trust with contractors, engineers, and owners.
• Identify project needs and ensure CMS hydronics solutions meet design and install requirements.
• Write, present, and negotiate bids, ensuring timely, quality proposals.
• Promote CMS products and stay informed on price updates and availability.
• Manage multiple ongoing projects, selling HVAC equipment and services.
• Build relationships with customers and manufacturers, speaking their language.
• Collaborate across teams to move the sales process forward.
• Travel to manufacturer locations for training, client visits, and inspections.
• Maintain CRM data accuracy and assist in accounts receivable activities.
