Job summary

Custom Mechanical Solutions is seeking a Commercial Hydronics Account Executive in Portland, OR. This outside sales role focuses on selling commercial and industrial hydronics equipment to contractors, engineers, and owners, building long-term relationships with customers and manufacturer partners.

You will demonstrate technical credibility, write compelling bids, and manage multiple projects while expanding CMS’s hydronics line card and ensuring codes compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in account management with leadership experience preferred.
• HVAC/Mechanical/Plumbing contracting or construction industry experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages financial objectives, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Builds long-term relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, owners and consultants.
• Demonstrates technical expertise to support hydronics system design and installation.
• Writes, presents, and negotiates bids and proposals to win projects
• Travel to CMS manufacturer locations for training, client visits, and inspections
