Total Comfort Service Center Inc in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with 6+ years of experience to join a dedicated team. You will draw on troubleshooting expertise to deliver quality service to clients while upholding company values and standards.

You will participate in ongoing training, manage a high workload, and maintain professionalism on-site. The role includes on-call nights/weekends as needed and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or 4-year HVAC apprenticeship with 1–2 years experience; or HVAC certificate with 6+ years; or equivalent work experience.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Tools and instruments necessary to perform service work.
• Safe work habits and ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience managing service agreements and quotes to margins and standards.
• Ability to pass fit-for-duty evaluations as required.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair HVAC equipment promptly.
• Pursue continued technical training (classroom, OJT, personal studies).
• Handle a heavy workload of calls while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain a neat appearance and a clean work vehicle.
• Present a positive, helpful attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Organize all work details and complete an accurate work ticket for billing and payroll.
• Submit Start-up Sheets and Refrigerant Tracking Logs timely.
• Promote new business by reporting leads.
• Exercise effective communication with customers and coworkers.
• Build rapport with clients, vendors, and other contacts.
• Utilize technology to enhance performance (email, internet, mobile).
• Mentor apprentice technicians and support on-call rotations.
