Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Service Technician II for our Anderson, SC team. You will diagnose, repair, and service HVAC systems, including RTUs, mini-splits, and related controls, with a focus on preventing callbacks and delivering quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate holds an active EPA certification, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license, with 5+ years in commercial HVAC.

Qualifications

• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years’ experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Manufacturer certification is preferred.
• Flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in HVAC systems and related equipment to identify repair or replacement needs.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts per specifications (15 tons+).
• Maintain larger PM contracts with multiple units and service mini-splits and smaller RTUs as needed.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure timely completion of jobs and updates to customers/management.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and provide elite customer service.
