System One is seeking a Commercial HVAC Senior Service Technician to support Houston's commercial and industrial mechanical service operations. Qualifications

• Proven commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot independently.
• Union status through Local 211 if applicable.
• Valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Strong documentation and customer communication.
• Commitment to safety and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Run commercial/industrial service calls from dispatch to closeout with limited supervision.
• Confirm mission, expectations, equipment, access, safety requirements before labor.
• Perform diagnostics, repair, stabilization, testing, and customer communication.
• Document hours, parts used, readings, photos, and final disposition for billing and history.
• Diagnose and service rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, hydronic systems, pumps, and related equipment.
• Use root-cause diagnostics: airflow, electrical, refrigeration, controls, readings.
• Interpret readings: superheat, delta-T, pressures, VFD history, BAS signals.
• Support maintenance contracts with follow-up recommendations.
• Troubleshoot chilled water, boilers, hydronics, cooling towers, or steam systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and trace control circuits safely.
