Job summary

Lennox International in Richardson, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our building maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, air handling units, and related equipment while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• HVAC certification or trade school training preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Install, test, and commission HVAC equipment (Chillers, Boilers, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, cooling towers).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues.
• Coordinate major repairs and equipment replacements with contractors and vendors.
