Job summary

Lennox in Richardson, TX is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex commercial HVAC systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, install and commission equipment, read schematics, and work with BAS and energy management systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification or trade school training preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs complex HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on commercial/industrial HVAC systems.
• Install, test, and commission HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, cooling towers, pumps and motors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues.
• Coordinate major repairs and equipment replacements with contractors and vendors.
