Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an experienced HVAC technician in Texas to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial systems. You will independently troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate solutions, and ensure reliable performance, with opportunity to take on more complex work.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA 608 certification and licensing as required by regulations.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA safety certification preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial service and maintenance calls under supervision.
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve customer problems professionally.
• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Perform routine maintenance and equipment cleaning.
• Handle parts delivery and removal for service tasks.
• Record information on handheld device and complete forms accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates.
• Promote company products and services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
