With a strong focus on reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are expanding and looking for a skilled Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Technician with advanced expertise in commercial heating and cooling systems. This individual will lead service, maintenance, and installation projects on complex HVAC systems for commercial facilities. This role requires technical leadership, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to ensure high standards of performance and safety on all job sites.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFD’s, boilers, VAVs/FPB’s

· Serve as a lead technician on projects, coordinating work with junior techs and subcontractors as needed.

· Conduct preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

· Interface with building engineers, facility managers, and property owners to communicate service updates and technical findings.

· Maintain proper documentation of work performed and ensure timely reporting.

· Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner

· Mentor and train junior technicians and apprentices.

Qualifications

· Minimum 7-10 years of commercial HVAC experience, with a proven track record in service

· EPA Universal Certification required;

· Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, RTUs, air handlers, pumps, and controls.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

· Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.

· Familiarity with commercial building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS) is a plus.

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spaces as needed.
