Job summary

Perfection Group is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Cincinnati team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftops, split systems, and heat pumps.

Excellent communication with customers is essential as you diagnose issues and explain next steps. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with dispatch, document work, and participate in on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumps.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls systems.
• EPA Universal Section 608 certification.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment (chillers, boilers, rooftops, split systems, heat pumps).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues.
• Explain conditions, repair recommendations, and next steps to customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with dispatch and communicate scheduling changes promptly.
• Document service calls, repairs, and resolutions in company software.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Share knowledge and guide less-experienced technicians.
