Job summary

TP Mechanical Contractors is seeking a full-time HVAC/Refrigeration technician in Cincinnati, OH, to troubleshoot rooftop units, boilers, chillers and related control systems. The role requires reading blueprints, coordinating with sub-contractors, and representing the company professionally on site.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of commercial plumbing/HVAC/refrigeration experience, and possesses relevant licenses or certifications.

Qualifications

5 years commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration.
Stable work history.
HVAC and brazing license a plus.
EPA or Universal License a plus.
Type 2 or Universal Refrigerant License.
HVAC chiller and boiler certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller and control system problems.
Follows up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensures customers are 100% satisfied.
Can work independently with little direction and is capable of solving problems.
Attends, if needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects.
Has the ability to identify and locate parts/suppliers.
On call as required and fills out the corresponding paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called.
All other duties as assigned.
