Job summary

GSM Services is seeking a Commercial HVAC Start & Test Team Leader to install and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems, read drawings, and ensure safety and quality on job sites within the Charlotte region.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience; candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, knowledge of mechanical codes, and the ability to manage two or more technicians while maintaining production and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Professional appearance & uniforms
• Exceptional punctuality, attendance & attitude
• Ability to read, interpret drawings & equipment manuals

Responsibilities

• Lead two or more technicians independently (no office assistance)
• Maintain crew time and production
• Oversee truck maintenance, cleanliness and tools
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards
• Ensure proper PPE use and enforcement
