Job summary

Staffccs is seeking a Service Technician Lead in Charlotte, NC to manage and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. The role includes advanced diagnostics, mentoring technicians, and ensuring safety and customer satisfaction on every call.

Candidates should have 10-15 years of HVAC experience, strong diagnostic skills, and be able to read manuals and schematics. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of HVAC experience in commercial systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, repair methods and components.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Proven leadership to mentor service technicians.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain.
• Able to lift heavy tools and pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose complex issues and perform advanced troubleshooting.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and site inspections.
• Respond to service calls with professional customer interactions.
• Mentor service technicians and share best practices.
• Coordinate with leadership to set team goals and fulfill customer needs.
• Maintain safety standards and proper PPE on all jobsites.
• Review service documentation for accuracy and billing.
• Assist with parts ordering and equipment procurement.
• Support sales through site surveys and customer relationships.
