Ability to braze and solder

Low voltage wiring

Experience: 5–10 years

Core Technical Skills

• Install commercial HVAC equipment
• Advanced troubleshooting of zone systems
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical codes
• NATE / Air Distribution Certification
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair all HVAC systems and control systems
• Install refrigerant piping
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls & thermostats
• Ability to braze and solder
• Read and interpret mechanical codes
• Troubleshoot HVAC units and control systems
• Low voltage wiring
• Manage two or more technicians independently (no office assistance)
• Follow all GSM management guidelines
• Full responsibility for crew time & production
• Full responsibility for truck maintenance, cleanliness & tools
• Full responsibility for OSHA & company safety standards
• Full responsibility for proper PPE use and enforcement

Required Certifications

• CFC Certification
• AWP Certification
• EPA 608 Universal

Requirements

• Must have valid driver’s license with safe driving record

• Ability to read, interpret drawings & equipment manuals
• Ability to set up, climb and work from ladders
• Lift and carry tools, refrigerant, and equipment up to 75 lbs.

• Deliver Comfort & Peace of Mind to customers and coworkers
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working conditions
• Accurately complete daily time records and daily log of work performed
• Maintain attendance by GSM Services policy
