Job summary

Mechanical HVAC Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Kenner, LA, serving Greater New Orleans and the Northshore. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems across hospitals, healthcare facilities, and government buildings, with no residential work and no sales quotas.

Position offers guaranteed 40 hours when available, on-call rotation, and a take-home vehicle.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and understand control sequences.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light-to-medium commercial HVAC systems in occupied facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective service in hospitals, healthcare facilities, and offices.
• Document completed work and escalate issues when needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and facility staff.
• Dispatch from home to assigned sites and participate in on-call rotation.

There is no residential work and no sales quota. Most service calls are handled independently.We are a locally operated commercial mechanical contractor with approximately 36 employees and 30 years of experience in the New Orleans market.
