Job summary

Mid-South Equipment Sales & Services in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. This full-time role will perform electrical and mechanical inspection and start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell, ensure peak performance, and provide proactive service coordination with Project Managers, Service Coordinators, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong VRF Technology knowledge (LG, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training with 5+ years in commercial service.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; handheld device experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Conducts preventive maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning.
• Interprets engineering drawings for layout, operation, and maintenance.
• Represents the company positively to trades, contractors and owners.
• Advises clients on preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
