Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to oversee commercial installation projects from start to finish and mentor junior installers. You will lead a crew on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, and outdoor spaces, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time startup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install and replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and overall performance.
