Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead on-site installation projects from kickoff to startup. You will mentor Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers while ensuring safety and quality on a busy job site.

You will install rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, and more, reading blueprints to keep work on schedule and delivering reliable performance for customers. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing projects and mentoring team members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoors.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to startup.
• Install/replace RTUs, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and ducts.
• Read blueprints and specs to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, performance.
• Perform startups, testing, commissioning, quality inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe job site and document installations on time.
