Job summary

Skyline Mechanical in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Commercial HVAC Construction Installer to drive retrofit, changeout, and new construction work across commercial sites.

You’ll install, replace, and commission RTUs, WSHPs, and cooling towers, lay out grooved piping, and coordinate with project teams to hit milestones. 3+ years in HVAC installation with strong diagnostics and plumbing/welding skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC installation with strong mechanical diagnostics.
• Experience supporting property maintenance tasks related to installs.
• Proficiency in plumbing, welding, and refrigeration techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication and detail orientation.
• Experience in central plants and chilled water systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and commission HVAC systems: RTUs, WSHPs, and cooling towers.
• Lay out and install grooved iron piping with precision and safety.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and resolve issues at the component level.
• Execute plumbing, welding, and refrigeration piping/brazing to spec.
• Partner with property maintenance and project teams to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain accurate, digital records—no paper work orders.
