Job summary

Skyline Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical Installer to support retrofits, changeouts, and new construction across commercial projects in the Phoenix area. The role emphasizes RTU/WSHP installations, cooling tower work, grooved piping, and tight coordination with property teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC installation and strong diagnostic and communication skills, with a valid AZ driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC installation/technician roles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
• Experience assisting with property maintenance tasks tied to installs.
• Clear communicator with attention to detail.
• Clean AZ driver’s license.
• Background in central plants and chilled water systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install & replace RTUs, WSHP systems, and cooling towers.
• Pipefitting: grooved iron pipe installation and clean piping layout.
• Field integration: plumbing, welding, and refrigeration piping/brazing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Coordinate with property maintenance and project teams to meet schedules.
• Document digital service reports—no paper work orders.
