Job summary

Bel-Aire Mechanical, a Legence Company in Phoenix, is seeking an experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Estimator and Project Manager. You will estimate, bid, and manage HVAC projects from pre-construction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong HVAC knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and contract documents. This role focuses on commercial/industrial work, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC estimating or project management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment replacements, retrofits, repairs, and new construction installations.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of construction drawings, specs and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for commercial/industrial HVAC projects.
• Perform takeoffs for equipment, materials, and labor.
• Negotiate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare and submit proposals, bids, and project budgets.
• Manage awarded projects from handoff through closeout.
• Coordinate project schedules, procurement, subcontractors, and field resources.
• Monitor costs, schedules, changes, and overall performance.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project, estimating, and pricing records.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
