Job summary

Tom’s Mechanical in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Chiller, Boiler, and Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers and boilers, and perform preventive maintenance with attention to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC service experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to work independently with customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC service experience
• 2+ years servicing commercial chillers/boilers
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with rooftops, air handlers, pumps, and controls
• EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders/roofs

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, and boilers
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, hydronic, and control systems
• Complete detailed service reports using mobile field software
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventory
• Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled
