Job summary

Tom’s Mechanical is seeking an experienced Chiller, Boiler, and Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in the Arlington/DFW area. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, with focus on chillers and boilers, and requires strong customer service while ensuring safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of HVAC service experience, 2+ years with commercial chillers/boilers, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid

Qualifications

• HVAC service experience of 5+ years.
• 2+ years hands-on experience servicing commercial chillers/boilers.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with rooftop units, split systems, air handlers, pumps and controls.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, rooftops and in mechanical rooms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, chillers and boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, hydronic and control system issues.
• Prepare detailed service reports using mobile field software.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations with customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and inventory.
• Follow safety policies and industry best practices.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
