Job summary

Uponor is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Commercial FP&A to deliver financial insights across Marketing & Sales, partnering with business leaders to drive profitability and exceptional customer experience in a hybrid role based at our Apple Valley, Minnesota headquarters.

You will lead pricing analytics, product and segment profitability, and support strategic initiatives with scenario modelling and business cases, translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years forecasting and budgeting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, profitability drivers, and key financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including the ability to develop financial models and translate data into meaningful business insights.
• Experience with advanced financial planning and reporting systems preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Confidence to constructively challenge assumptions and business decisions while providing clear, fact-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze profitability by product, category, and business segment; develop financial reporting and insights; and facilitate regular P&L reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead pricing analytics and governance reporting, including monitoring KPIs, evaluating pricing initiatives, analyzing price and margin trends, and preparing insights for leadership.
• Serve as the Finance partner for new product development and key strategic initiatives, including scenario modelling, business case development, pre- and post-launch analysis, and regular updates to senior leadership.
• Support promotional, portfolio management, and channel diversification initiatives through financial analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with global category reporting teams to ensure alignment with BFS-AM business requirements.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic, data-driven decisions across Marketing & Sales.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial performance, processes, and business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.
