Job summary

Hyundai Capital America in Irvine, CA is seeking a Sr. Commercial Finance Data & Analytics Associate to lead performance management and reporting across the commercial vehicle and equipment finance lifecycle.

You will partner with business and IT to define KPIs, deliver executive dashboards, and provide actionable insights to drive informed decisions. The role also supports planning, forecasting, and process improvements with data integrity and efficiency in mind.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in financial services, auto finance, or a related analytics, performance management, or reporting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze, validate, and interpret data for performance and ad‑hoc reporting purposes.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive‑ready presentations
• Experience using SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis
• Experience using reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management reporting across all Commercial Finance Operations (Credit, Funding, and Servicing).
• Define, monitor, and ensure consistency and integrity of key performance indicators across functions.
• Partner cross-functionally to align reporting with business priorities.
• Analyze trends, variances, and performance drivers across the account lifecycle to provide actionable insights.
• Support annual planning and forecasting through staff capacity planning and operational expense management.
