Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Estimator & Takeoff Specialist to lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion in Georgia. You will perform detailed take-offs, prepare accurate cost estimates, manage RFIs, and negotiate contracts with subs to keep projects on budget.

Proficiency with Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and ISQFT is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in construction management and 5+ years of PM/estimation experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimation in the commercial construction industry.
• Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects (hospitals, retail, government, restoration).
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and ISQFT bid management software.
• Strong contract negotiation, budget management, and cost estimation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with client and subcontractor relationships; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects from beginning to end, including project close-out.
• Perform detailed take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets.
• Track and manage Request for Information (RFI) process, ensuring RFIs are addressed promptly and accurately.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
• Utilize Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and ISQFT bid management software to manage documentation.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure completion within budget.
• Provide regular financial updates to senior management.
• Coordinate and oversee on-site operations ensuring design and safety standards are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Resolve project issues or disputes quickly and efficiently.
