Qualifications

• Significant commercial construction estimating experience.
• Ability to prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and cost proposals.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Extensive experience with quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Analyze and evaluate bids, identify scope gaps, and assess risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estimating Department activities from budgeting to bid submission.
• Review drawings, specs, addenda to develop complete estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and develop costs for labor, materials, and subs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Maintain bid documentation and respond to client requirements.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams on estimates.
• Monitor pricing trends and support schedule development during pre-construction.
