Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to independently manage estimates from setup through bid submission.
• Knowledge of commercial construction costs, CSI divisions, and estimating practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; CMiC, OST, Bluebeam, P6, or MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial estimates from setup through final bid submission.
• Develop accurate cost estimates from concept through construction documents.
• Analyze plans, specs, addenda, and contracts for complete scope coverage.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates.
• Identify scope gaps, pricing exposures, and risks before bid day.
• Solicit and manage subcontractor and supplier pricing and coverage.
• Estimate general conditions and self-performed scopes of work.
• Support proposals with the Business Development team on strategy.
