Job summary

Acloché LLC is seeking an experienced construction estimator to manage bids and contracts for commercial projects, with a focus on interior tenant fit-outs. The role emphasizes thorough cost estimation, coordination with clients and subs, and efficient bid document processing.

The successful candidate will review drawings, develop schedules, issue RFIs, and negotiate terms while maintaining strong communication with project teams. Hybrid schedule and regional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors on scope, price and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout the process.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Travel as required.
