Job summary

United Future is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to lead bid preparation through contract execution. You will review drawings, develop schedules, issue RFIs, and negotiate with subcontractors for interior tenant fit-outs and related retail projects.

Hybrid work near the office; 10–15 years in the field with strong Procore and MS Office skills; travel as required. You will collaborate with clients and teams to keep bids moving and ensure accurate, competitive estimates.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs related to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors on scope, price, and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout estimating and construction.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
