Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced commercial construction estimator to lead bids from initial assessment through contract execution. This role focuses on interior and retail tenant fit-outs, leveraging Procore and MS Project to manage schedules, costs, and risk.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in commercial construction, with 8–10 years in estimating, and a proven ability to review drawings, issue RFIs, and negotiate with subcontractors.

Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial projects.
Review drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
Prepare and maintain construction schedules.
Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors.
Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout the process.
Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
Travel as required.
