Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to lead bids through contract execution, with a focus on interior tenant fit-outs. Experience in retail tenant fit-outs is preferred, and candidates should be adept at reviewing drawings, preparing estimates, and developing schedules.

The role requires strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills, plus proficiency with Procore and related Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required; retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
Review construction drawings and bid documents to quickly identify, comprehend, and address project requirements.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
Develop and issue RFIs relating to construction drawings and bid documents.
Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and terms.
Interact professionally and effectively with clients and subcontractors throughout the estimating and construction process.
Communicate and over-communicate with team members and clients to ensure alignment and keep projects moving forward.
Travel as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
