Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with a finance/leasing company in sourcing, developing, and closing lease transactions.
• Excellent organizational skills and proactive marketing approach.
• Ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with lessors and companies in the region.
• Professional sales, marketing, and presentation skills with excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong financial analysis and leasing knowledge, including FASB 13 and cash flow impacts.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and pricing software.

Responsibilities

• Initiates contacts for developing new sources of business; cultivates relationships with many sources.
• Interviews lessees to assess credit risk and initiates lease contracts when appropriate.
• Coordinates equipment appraisal with staff to determine structure, pricing, tax, and residual risks.
• Prepares market-competitive lease quotes and structuring proposals.
• Structures and tailors lease transactions from inception to close.
• Maintains ongoing client relationships and monitors market dynamics and competition.
• Collaborates with tax and legal to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
